CBU Summer Basketball Camps

Summer is Basketball Camp time at CBU. The CAPERS will present basketball camps in the summer of 2024.

The goals of our learning environment are simple: • Individual Skill Development • Learn new skills, information, and modern techniques • Team Concepts (Games & Scrimmages) • FUN (hard work in a fun environment for learning).

The knowledge and experience of our staff mean high-quality instruction; CBU's facilities are second to none, and CAPERS Camps are affordable. The coaches will utilize personal demonstration, individual instruction, half-court and full-court games, and drills to allow the campers to get the best possible basketball experience.

Facilities at CBU offer the most modern athletic facilities on the Island. Sullivan Field House features three full-sized basketball courts, a modern fitness center, state-of-the-art team rooms, and audio-visual sites.

The Government of Nova Scotia declared a province-wide state of emergency under the Emergency Management Act on March 22, 2020, to protect the health and safety of all Nova Scotians and to reduce the spread of the novel coronavirus (“COVID-19”). COVID-19 is easily spread by contact with droplets produced by people who have the virus. The University has put in place measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, the University cannot guarantee that any individual attending the University campus, using the University’s facilities, or participating in activities or events organized by the University, whether on-campus or off-campus, will not become infected with COVID-19. Further, attending the University campus and participating in activities or events organized by the University could increase the risk of contracting COVID-19. As a result, the University and the participant acknowledge that COVID-19 has resulted in uncertainty and risk around public events.
