Omar sets CBU Scoring Record in win over Axemen

WOLFVILLE, N.S. – Subway Player of the Game Osman Omar (Mississauga, Ont.) scored 42 points as he led the Cape Breton Capers to a 98–97 victory over the Acadia Axemen. His 42 points gave him 1502 career regular season AUS points. The career mark surpasses CBU's All-Time great and current Athletic Director John Ryan who put up 1500 points in a storied 5-year career in the early 90s with the CAPERS. Omar has accomplished the feat in just 75 games.
