UNB used Evan Barker's outstanding goaltending to earn a victory into the AUS finals.

Sydney, NS- The #3 seed UNB upset the #2 seed St.FX 1-0 in the second semi-final of the night 1-0. UNB's Matt Quigley (Conquerall Mills, NS) scored on a goal-mouth scramble early in the second half to give the Varsity Reds a 1-0 victory. Varsity Reds keeper Evan Barker (Winnipeg, MB) made numerous game-saving blocks to preserve the victory.
Turning point – Quigley's goal broke a scoreless game despite X controlling most of the possession. Barker made a goal-line save with 15 minutes left to earn the victory. The Varsity Reds were able to battle the rainy conditions and hold off X's attack to earn a berth in the final.
