Sydney, NS – Rookie Daniel Williams (Pierrefonds, QC) scored his first AUS goal to open the scoring in the 51st minute. The UNB Reds responded in the 84th minute to earn the tie with a goal by 4th-year player Alex O'Brien (Charlottetown, PE). Ben Jackson (Bury, UK) made 4 saves for the CAPERS and Reds keeper Evan Barker also made 4 saves.
Turning Point: The game was largely a defensive affair in the first half. The CAPERS controlled much of the second half but it was UNB's strike in the 84th minute that decided the outcome of this game.
