The CAPERS rebounded with a 3-0 victory over the Dalhousie Tigers on Sunday afternoon.

Sydney, NS – The CAPERS rebounded with a 3-0 victory over the Dalhousie Tigers on Sunday afternoon. The CAPERS got single goals from Becky Hanna (Howie Centre, NS), Rachel Leck (Pickering, ON) and Maddy Johnson (Barrie, ON). 4th-year keeper Rachel Yerxa (Mississauga, ON) was strong in net for the victory. Dalhousie starting keeper Kate Fines made 3 saves before exiting the game and reserve Sam Corcoran made a pair of saves in relief.
Turning Point: After a scoreless 1sthalf, the CAPERS scored on a goalmouth scramble in the 55thminute. DAL's starting goalie was injured on the play and the CAPERS scored two quick goals soon after.
* CBU's Hanna, Leck and Johnson each had one goal
* Erin Freeman (Halifax, NS) had an assist
* Amelia Carlini (Ottawa, ON) and Ciera Disipio (Ottawa, ON) led all players with 4 shots each
* Yerxa led all keepers with 5 assists
* Freeman was awarded the Subway Player of the Game for her efforts
