It was a record-setting weekend for the fourth-year striker from Kitchener. Ontario.
In a convincing 6-0 road victory over the Mount Allison Mounties on Oct 15, the Bachelor of Arts student scored every goal, including two in stoppage time. Her six markers broke the AUS single-game record (five) held by UPEI's Tessa Roche since 2005.
For the season, the dynamic forward reached the 19-goal mark, which eclipsed the single-season AUS record of legendary Caper striker Dr. Karolyn Blain (16).
Rowe, with 49 career goals, is also closing in on Blain's all-time mark of 53.
In a 1-0 home win over the Memorial SeaHawks on Friday evening (Oct. 13), Rowe led the Capers with six shots, and was an offensive threat throughout the match.
Rowe, with two matches remaining in the AUS regular season, is second in USPORTS with 19 goals and 22 points.
Daniel Clarke
CBU Men's Soccer
The 2022 first-team conference all-star surrendered only one goal in recording a pair of Atlantic University Sport (AUS) victories over the weekend.
On Oct. 13, at home, the native of Milton Keynes, England made seven saves - many of the high-end variety in a hard fought 2-1 triumph over the Memorial SeaHawks.
The Bachelor of Business Administration student, who is in his junior season, recorded the shutout on Oct. 15 in a 3-0 road win over the Mount Allison Mounties.
Clarke has an unblemished 6-0-1 record so far this season.
