Capers down X-Men for sixth straight victory

The Cape Breton University Capers found their stride in the final quarter, outscoring the visiting StFX X-Men 22-8 over the closing 10 minutes enroute to a 74-61 in AUS men's basketball action Tuesday in Sydney.
Seth Amoah poured in a game high 19 points to go with six points and six assists for the Capers, who improved to 9-8 overall and moved into fifth place in the AUS standings.
Meshack Lufile with 17 points and seven rebounds in just 17 minutes off the bench and Cedric Kasongo with 17 points, five assists and five steals were other key performers for the Capers.
William Donkoh had 17 points and Cameron Walker 10 points for the X-Men, who fell to 10-6 on the year.
The Capers will be home for the final time this season Friday and Saturday when they host the Dalhousie Tigers and Acadia Axemen at the Sullivan Fieldhouse.
Game time Friday with Dalhousie is 8 p.m., while the rematch of last yea's AUS final with Acadia tips off Saturday at 4 p.m.
