Capers cruise past X-Men 84-69

Just three days after letting a fourth quarter lead slip away on the road, the Cape Breton University Capers rolled to an 84-69 win over the St Francis Xavier X-Men in AUS men's basketball play in Sydney.
Meshack Lufile led the home side with 19 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks as the Capers improved to 1-1 on the season.
Seth Amoah added 13 points for the winners, while Ashton Stephenson and Cedric Kasongo finished with 12 and 11 points respectively.
Kasongo also chipped in with seven assists for the winners.
William Donkoh and Rodrigo Madera had 15 points apiece for the X-Men.
The Capers will be back in action again this weekend when they host the Memorial Sea-hawks in a pair of games at the Sullivan Field House.
