Capers down Sea-hawks 63-57

Struggling to get their offence in gear all night, the Cape Breton University Capers managed to grind out a 63-57 victory over the Memorial Sea-hawks in AUS men's basketball action Saturday in Sydney.
Subway Player of the Game AJ Geugjes had a game high 17 points to go with 15 rebounds for the winners as the Capers improved to 2-1 on the year.
Seth Amoah added 15 points in 23 minutes off the bench for the Capers, who trailed 26-22 at half before going on a 22-10 run in the third quarter to take the lead.
Vasillije Curcic with 16 points and six rebounds and Davion Parnsalu with 10 points were tops for Memorial.
The two teams will meet again Sunday in a 1 p.m. tip off at the Sullivan Fieldhouse.
