CAPERS lose to X in Exciting Matchup

Sydney, NS- The St.Fx X-Men beat the CBU CAPERS in an entertaining tight matchup in the second game of the 2017 CAPERS Fall Classic. The two rivals battled in the second half and the X-Men held off a late surge by the hometown CAPERS. Kevin Bercy led the X-Men in scoring with 26 points and Martin Campbell (Upper Marlboro, MD) led the CAPERS  with 29. Grant Dickinson (Alexandria, VA) had 16 pts and 8 rebounds for the CAPERS.

Turning point – The CAPERS cut the X-men lead down to 2 but some strong defense and big buckets by the veteran Bercy with under a 1 minute to go.
