MSOC: Campanile score 3 in CAPERS win
The CBU CAPERS continued their unbeaten season with a 7-0 win over the Mount Allison Mountie.

Sydney, NS- The first place CAPERS continued their unbeaten streak by beating the Mount Allison Mounties 7-0 in their final home game of the year. Marcus Campanile (Edinburgh, UK) led off the scoring in the 15' and was quickly followed by 4th-year player Max Raab (Elora, ON) who scored on a nice feed from Jack Simpson (Redding, UK) in the 23'. Cory Bent (Preston, UK) was taken down in the box in 34' and captain Stuart Heath (Belfast, IE) scored on the penalty. The CAPERS went into the locker room with a 3-0 lead at halftime. The CAPERS continued to score goals by the bunches in the second half. Campanile added two more, while Michael Gould (Linlithgow, UK)and Jessie MacIntyre (New Waterford, NS) added singles. Ben Jackson (Bury, UK) played goal for the CAPERS and made 2 saves for the clean sheet.
Turning point – Cory Bent was taken down in the box and the referee quickly pointed to the penalty spot and Heath buried the shot to the keepers' left. That gave the CAPERS a 3-0 lead and they never looked back.
