MSOC: National Champs win preseason game 3-0!
The defending Canadian University National Champions beat University of Maine Fort Kent 3-0 in a preseason tilt.

Sydney, NS – 3rd-Years Marcus Campanile (Edinburgh, UK) and Caelann Budhoo (Winnipeg, Man.)along with 2nd-Year Mitchell Wong (Bowmanville, ON) scored 2nd half goals to power the CBU CAPERS to a victory in their final preseason game. 3rd -year Keeper Ben Jackson (Bury, UK) and 2nd-year Viktor Lyczywek (Toronto, ON) split time to earn the clean sheet and the victory for the defending U Sports & AUS Champions over the University of Maine - Fort Kent. UMFK forward Miguel Barnaby had the only shot on goal for the American school.
Turning Point Campanile scored in the 48th minute and the CAPERS controlled the rest of the game after a physical tight first half.

- The CAPERS are the defending AUS champions and won their 1st National Title in 2017.
- This game was the final stop for the Maine school as they completed their Canadian tour.
- There were no yellow cards in the physical but clean game.
