Bio

Dean Morley, M.S.L  

Coach Deano has been with the CBU Men’s Soccer program since 2004. Morley was named an AUS first-team All-Star, and team MVP and captained the team in 2005 and 2006. He became an assistant coach in 2007. He has been a part of the CAPERS team for all their Atlantic Championship titles (9) and National medals (6).  

In 2014 Coach Deano was named Head Coach of the CAPERS Men's Soccer Program.

In each of his first 7 seasons as Head Coach, Morley has guided the CBU team to the Atlantic Championship Final every year capturing 5 consecutive AUS titles and 4 consecutive National Medals including National gold in 2017. Named AUS Coach of the year 3 times and National Coach of the year twice, Morley is quick to deflect the credit to his great coaching staff and the commitment and effort of all the student-athletes he’s had the pleasure of working with.  

Coach Deano, a native of Nottingham, England married his wife Lisa in 2009, and they have a daughter Brooklyn who is 10. Coach Deano holds a Master of Science in Leadership and is an educator within the school of Sport Physical Activity Leadership at CBU.  

Coach Deano has led the program to be ranked the number one program in Canada and has produced more players drafted into the Canadian Premier League than any other university program in Canada and has seen more of his players achieve Academic All Canadian status than ever before.
