Keough leads Capers comeback victory over Panthers

A 28-point fourth quarter lifted the Cape Breton University Capers to a come-from-behind 82-70 victory over the University of Prince Edward Island Panthers in AUS women's basketball action Friday in Sydney.
The 28 points in the final frame equaled the Capers entire first half output when they trailed 30-28 at the break.
Rookie Alison Keough earned Subway Player of the Game honours after pouring in a game high 23 points to go with 13 rebounds as the Capers improved to 4-3 overall on the year.
Natasha Roach and Jalynn Skeir each had 10 points for the winners, who shot 57 per cent from the field in the second half.
Yasmine Taylor chipped in with nine points in just 10 minutes off the bench for the Capers as CBU moved into second spot in the AUS standings.
Kiera Rigby had 12 points for the Panthers while Jane McLaughlin chipped in with 11 points and seven rebounds in a losing cause.
Amy Gough also finished in double digits for UPEI, finishing with 10 points.
