Brown & Calliste lead CAPERS to victory
Sydney, NS – The CAPERS completed the weekend sweep of the Dalhousie Tigers on Sunday afternoon at the Sullivan Fieldhouse with a 75-64 victory.

Sydney, NS – The CAPERS completed the weekend sweep of the Dalhousie Tigers on Sunday afternoon at the Sullivan Fieldhouse with a 75-64 victory. CBU was led in scoring by 5th-year forward Hannah Brown (North Sydney, NS) with 26 points and she also grabbed 18 rebounds. The CAPERS had the rebounding edge most of the game, outrebounding the Tigers 42-32. The CAPERS also had strong games from Monique Calliste (Toronto, ON) with 14 points & Mackenzee Ryan (Glace Bay, NS) with 12 points. The Tigers were once again led by Robertha Charles who had 24 points and 7 rebounds. Lia Kenztler put up 17 points and grabbed 5 rebounds for Dalhousie. The CAPERS were able to get out to a quick jump outscoring the Tigers 18-10 in the first quarter. The Tigers were never able to close the gap.
Turning point – The CAPERS followed up their strong 1st quarter with another good quarter in the second. The CAPERS were able to build a 13 point lead heading into the break.

- Ryan of CBU & Karina May of the Tigers each had 5 assists
- CBU's Audrey Rankin (Prince George's County, MD) and DAL's Charles each had a pair of 3-pointers

The CAPERS improve their record to 12-2 on the season and have clinched a playoff spot
The Tigers fall to 6-8 on the season.
The CAPERS next game is next Saturday, February 2nd as they host Saint Mary's.
The Tigers will host Acadia on the 2nd as well.
