Sydney, NS – Rachel Leck (Pickering, ON) and Amelia Carlini (Ottawa, ON) each scored goals as the CAPERS defeated their arch rival X-Women 2-1 on Friday night in Antigonish. Amanda Smith replied for St. FX. Rachel Yerxa (Mississauga, ON) earned the victory in goal for the CAPERS.  

Turning Point: Leck's second-half goal broke a tie in the 78th on a scramble in front of the X net. 

 Individual Leaders 
- CBU's Carlini & Leck, and X's Smith each had one goal
- Ciera Disipio (Ottawa, ON) & Erin Freeman (Halifax, NS) each had 1 assist for the CAPERS, Olivia Czipf assisted on the lone X goal.
- Leck, Carlini, Disipio & Freeman of the CAPERS and Smith & Czipf all tied for the lead with one point each

• St.FX's Emma Kuzmyk made 10 saves on 12 shots in a losing effort
• The CAPERS Leck & Disipio led all players with 3 shots on goal
