Ally Rowe, a fifth-year striker from Kitchener, Ontario, is the 7by7 Restaurant CBU female athlete of the week for the week ending Sept. 22.
The Bachelor of Arts student scored three goals, including the match clincher, in a convincing 6-0 road triumph over Les Aigles Bleues de Moncton on Sept. 21. She finished with five shots-on-goal in a dominant offensive performance.
The all-time single season and career goal-scoring leader in AUS women's soccer history has a conference-best 10 tallies in six matches in 2024.
The two-time AUS most valuable player and first-team All-Canadian has been a key contributor to the Capers undefeated start (5-0-1) to the conference regular season.
Rowe and her Caper teammates will return to action this weekend with a pair of home matches at Ness Timmons Soccer Field on the CBU campus in Sydney.
The Capers will host the Memorial Sea-Hawks on Friday, Sept. 27 at 5 p.m., and the rival Saint Mary's Huskies on Sunday, Sept. 29, at 1 p.m.

Jason Hartill, a second-year defender from Carleton Place, ON, is the 7by7 Restaurant CBU male athlete of the week for the week ending Sept 22.
The Bachelor of Arts in Community Studies student scored his first goal of the Atlantic University Sport (AUS) regular season – the game-winner – in a 3-1 road victory over Les Aigles Bleus de Moncton Sept. 21
Hartill was instrumental on both sides of the pitch in helping the Capers remain undefeated (4-0-2).
Hartill and his Caper teammates will return to action this weekend with a pair of home matches at Ness Timmons Soccer Field on the CBU campus in Sydney.
