Alliyah Rowe, a fifth-year striker from Kitchener, Ontario, is the 7by7 Restaurant CBU female athlete of the week for the week ending Oct. 6.
The Bachelor of Arts student scored twice for the undefeated Capers in a 3-3 tie with the Acadia Axewomen in Atlantic University Sport (AUS) soccer action on Senior Day at CBU's Ness Timmons Field on Oct. 6.
With the pair of markers, the 2023 AUS most valuable player reached 72 for her career, tying her with Ross Webb of the Saint Mary's Huskies (1978-82) for the most career goals by any student-athlete – male or female – in conference history.
Rowe, who played every minute of the match, finished with four shots on goal, while setting up several teammates for scoring chances.
Rowe and the second-place Capers (7-0-1) will return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 9, versus the defending AUS champion STFX X-Women (4-3-2) at STFX Stadium at 5 p.m.

Evan Cunningham, a first-year striker from Lancashire, England, is the 7by7 Restaurant CBU male athlete of the week for the week ending Oct. 6.
The Bachelor of Arts in Community Studies student scored twice for the Capers in a 4-0 victory over the Acadia Axemen in Atlantic University Sport (AUS) men's soccer action on CBU Senior Day at Ness Timmons Field on Oct. 6.
Cunningham has four points, including three goals, in his freshman season in CAPER orange.
Cunningham and the second-place Capers (7-0-2) will return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 9, versus the defending AUS champion and first-place STFX X-Men (7-0-2) in a battle for top spot in the conference at STFX Stadium at 5 p.m.
