Akachukwu set to race on Thursday at 2025 BioSteel U SPORTS Championship

Favour Akachukwu has arrived at the University of Windsor and is prepping for her 2025 BioSteel U SPORTS Track and Field Championship race tomorrow, March 6th. Favour earned a spot at the national championship by winning a gold medal in the 60m sprint at the Atlantic University Sport Championships 2 weeks ago. Favour and 2 of her coaches, John Hudec and Lee Ann Astephen, made the trek to Windsor, Ontario yesterday and are doing some training today at the Dennis Fairall Fieldhouse on the University of Windsor Campus.

Favour is set to run the preliminaries for the 60m at 6:00pm EST with the final being run at 7:00pm EST. Favour's CAPER family will be cheering her as she participates in this great event. Here's how you can tune in to watch: https://www.cbc.ca/player/sports/live
