CAPERS Women’s Basketball Welcomes Ella Dunn

The Cape Breton University Women's Basketball Program is proud to welcome Ella Dunn to the CAPER Family. Ella is a shooting guard from Lennoxville, Québec who is currently playing for the Champlain Cavaliers in the RSEQ. She will put on CAPER orange in Atlantic University Sport play for the 2025-26 basketball season.

"I chose CBU because it is the program that will help me develop my game," stated Dunn on her choice to come to CBU. "It's welcoming atmosphere and strong sense of community reminded me of the close-knit community I grew up in; I believe it will feel like home."

The CAPERS are graduating some key players this year and Dunn is hoping she can bring her skills to the team to help fill some gaps. "I believe I bring a strong work ethic, shooting ability, and level of energy to the team," states Dunn. "I want to be the best teammate I can be." Coach McKenzie and the returning CAPERS are looking forward to taking the floor with Ella in the fall.
