4.     Why did you choose to come to CBU?

I came to CBU because of being coached by Matt Skinn in the past with both the Jr.Dinos and University of Calgary Dinos basketball teams.

 

5.     What is your pre-game routine and how long have you been doing it?

I listen to some relaxing music and make sure I put my right ankle brace and shoe on first. I had a really good shooting game once by doing this when I was young and have done this same routine ever since I can remember.

 

6.     What do you do in your free time?

In my free time I study, hang out with my girlfrien, and keep sane by playing Call of Duty.

 

7.     Who’s your favourite professional athlete and why?

Steve Nash. The way he handles himself both on and off the court.

 

8.     What is your best memory from playing your sport?

My best memory from playing basketball is hitting the game winning three at Western Canada summer games.

 

9.     If you weren’t playing this sport, what would you be doing and why?

If I wasn’t playing my sport I would be finishing school back in Calgary.

 

10.   When did you start playing your sport? How did you get started?

I started playing at a very young age, in fact ever since I could walk I had a ball in my hand, but it started with my dad. I used to sit on his high school basketball team’s bench dribbling a ball whenever I was allowed, shooting during half times and even shooting on the side of the gym during his practices on a Fisher Price basketball hoop.

 

11.   What is your favourite place to eat and why?

Wentworth Perk! I love the atmosphere.

 

12.   Where would you go for your dream vacation and why?

Hungary/Germany, I would love to see my dad’s side of the family and see places dealing with the war that related to our family and how we wound up in Canada.

 

13.   How did playing varsity sports improve your university experience?

Varsity sport gives my day structure. Everyday I have to be somewhere and prepared for something, be it physically or mentally. Being busy forces you to not only to be organized but to stay on top of things as well in order to stay in good standing as a student and able to play the sport that originally brought me here. It also helps to have coaches that extrinsically motivate you to do your best because they not only believe in you, but expect those results as well.
