The Cape Breton University Capers made it a perfect weekend at home Sunday, picking up their second win of the season with a 73-64 win over the Memorial Sea-Hawks in AUS en's basketball action at the Sullivan Fieldhouse.
Meshack Lufile had a team-high 16 points and five rebounds as the CIS No. 6 ranked Capers improved to 2-0.
For the second game in a row, Lufile, a fourth-year post from Burlington, ON, was near perfect, finishing six for seven from the field.
Seth Amoah had 10 points, four rebounds and four assists for the Capers while Kelson Devereaux nd Kyle Hankins finished with eight points apiece.
Jacob Ranton had a game-high 25-point and nine boards for the visiting Sea-Hawks while Davion Parnsalu had 18 points in a losing cause.
The Capers will be on the road next weekend for a pair of games in Charlottetown against the University of Prince Edward Island Panthers.
