Sydney, NS- The SAIT Trojans took the first game of the 2017 CAPERS Fall Classic 101 – 89 over the UPEI Panthers. The Trojans had three players score over 20 points in a balanced attack. John Smith 28, Levi Taylor 24 and Gemie Muya 20 led the ACAC school over the AUS Panthers.
Turning point – The Panthers led most of the first half but the Trojans used an 8-0 run to start the second half and never surrender the lead again.
