CBU 90 UPEI 78
Sydney, NS- The CBU CAPERS earned their first win of the pre-season with a 90-78 over the UPEI Panthers in each team's second game of the 2017 CAPERS Fall Classic. CBU used a balanced attack led by Indiana Rotondo with 15pts, Osman Omar & Kyle Hankins with 14 and Paul Watson with 12. Papa Diop had a strong rebounding game with 8. Milorad Sedlarevic led the Panthers with 24 pts.
Turning point – The CAPERS came out of the gate quickly and kept piling it on to end the 1st-half with a 23 point lead. CBU's lead was enough to ride out the rest of the game.
