Sydney, NS - The Cape Breton University CAPERS swept their weekend matchup vs the UPEI Panthers, winning the second game out of 2 by a score of 90-78. The CAPERS had a very balanced attack on offense. They were led by Martin Campbell (Upper Marlboro, MD, USA) who scored 22 points and dished 8 assists in the win. For the Panthers, Dakelle Brooks (East Preston, NS) and Moshe Wadley (Toronto, ON) both had 17 points.
Turning point - The CAPERS found another gear in the final quarter, outscoring the Panthers 27-21. Martin Campbell put the game away scoring 9 points in the final 8 minutes of play.
