Sydney, NS – The Cape Breton University CAPERS dropped the opening game of their Ontario preseason exhibition trip to the McMaster Marauders 78-64 on Friday night. Paul Watson (Mississauga, ON) led the CAPERS with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Connor Gilmore led McMaster with 19 points and 9 rebounds.
Turning Point: McMaster outscored the CAPERS 19-11 in the 3rdquarter in what was a tight game. They were able to ride that lead to the win.
