Guelph, ON – The Cape Breton CAPERS finished off their 3 game Ontario road trip with an 86-79 to the Guelph Gryphons. The CAPERS were led in scoring by Dennis Joiner (Minneapolis. MN) with 17pts and Osman Omar with 15 pts and 7 rebounds. The CAPERS return home 1-2 on their preseason trip as they prepare for the upcoming AUS season.
The CAPERS open the season on the road in Halifax against the Dalhousie Tigers on November 3rdand 4th. Tip-off is at 7 pm and games can be seen live on AUSTV.ca. The CAPERS home opener is November 10thagainst St.FX.
