Sydney, NS – The CAPERS earned a weekend split with an 86-85 overtime thriller on Saturday afternoon at the Sullivan Fieldhouse. The CAPERS bounced back from an ugly loss on Friday to earn the weekend split. The teams took turns winning quarters and the game was always within 10 points in the tight affair. Osman Omar (Mississauga, ON) led the CAPERS with 32 points. Big forward Cooper Ward (Ipswich, AUS) had a strong game with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. The Reds had their own 30-point star in Matur Maluach who also had 11 boards. Derian Valdes chipped in 18 pts, 7 rebounds and Markus Masters had 10 points before leaving the game with an injury.

- Maluach and CBU's CJ Bennett (Brampton, ON) led the game with 11 rebounds apiece
