Capers settle for scoreless draw with Panthers
September 14, 2013
The Cape Breton University Capers men's soccer team offensive struggles continued Saturday in a 0-0 draw with the University of Prince Edward Island Panthers in AUS men's soccer play in Sydney.
The defending AUS champion Capers, now 0-2-1 on the season, have managed just two goals in the first three games despite out chancing their opponents.
Ethan MacInnis in his first start of the season provided the shutout goaltending for the Capers while Brett MacDonald had the clean sheet for the Panthers.
CBU will look to get into the win column Sunday when they host the Acadia Axemen in a 4:15 p.m. start at the Cape Breton Health Recreation Complex on the CBU campus.
