Capers, Huskies battle to 1-1 draw

Cape Breton University Capers improved to 1-2-2 on the season after battling the Saint Mary's Huskies to a 1-1 draw in AUS men's soccer action in Sydney, Sunday.
Ian Greedy converted a penalty kick for his third goal of the season in the 34th minute to give CBU a 1-0 lead over the Huskies, now 3-1-1 on the year.
The lead was short lived however, with the Huskies tallying just a minute later on a long strike by Rodrigo Faria de Carvalho.
Ethan MacInnis made four saves for the Capers. Adam Miller stopped seven shots for the Huskies.
CBU will return to action Friday when they host the StFX X-Men in a 5:15 p.m. start at the Cape Breton Health Recreation Complex on the CBU campus.
