It was a tough trip to Nrw Brunswick for the Cape Breton University Capers men's soccer team as they both their games this past weekend.
Sunday in Moncton, Ian Greedy was a bright spot for CBU in their 2-1 loss.
Greedy struck with the Capers only goal in the 11th minute. Daniel Mallet in the 35th and Amadou Bamba Fall in the 59th replied for the host team.
Saturday, the Capers men dropped their match to UNB by a score of 2-0.
Marcus Leesgave UNB the lead in the fourth minute and Victor Karosan rounded out the scoring 15minutes before the final whistle.
The loss dropped CBU's record to 1-2-0 for eighth place in the 10-team conference.
The Capers teams continue play at home this weekend. They challenge the DalhousieTigers on Saturday and the Mount Allison Mounties on Sunday. Games are 3:15 p.m. for the men each day.
