It was a clean sweep for the Cape Breton University men's soccer team in Atlantic University Sport action at home over the weekend.
With their 3-2 victory over Dalhousie Sunday, the Capers (8-1-4) locked up first place in the regular season and secured a first round bye for this weekend's AUS championship tournament at Acadia.
After Zach Mbolekwa opened the scoring for the Tigers in the 21st minute, the Capers rallied back with goals from Sandro Rajkovic in the 28th minute and Stuart Heath in the 35th minute to take a 2-1 lead into halftime.
Aidan Klassen pulled the Tigers even in the 55th minute, but reigning CIS and AUS MVP Justin Maheu picked up the game winner in the 65th minute, recording his 13th of the season to give him his second consecutive AUS scoring title.
Scott Shewfelt picked up his eighth win of the season in the Capers goal.
The Capers will play in the AUS semifinal Friday at 5 p.m. against the lowest advancing seed from Thursday's quarter-final matchups.
