Antigonish, NS- The CAPERS showed some dominance in the second half of the game to defeat X during to send the hosts on a losing note into their homecoming weekend. much of the 1st half was evenly played with the CAPERS and X-Men trading goals by Charlie Waters (Lancashire, UK) and Dan Hayfield. IN the second half, the CAPERS showed their superiority, badly outshooting their opponents and receiving goals from Waters and 2nd-year player Cory Bent (Preston, UK).
Turning point
CAPERS rookie Waters scored his second goal of the game in the 63' minute. From that point, the CAPERS gained confidence and added an insurance goal on their way to victory.
