The CAPERS have clinched 1st place in the AUS standings and earned a bye into the semi-finals in next week's AUS Championships being held at Cape Breton University. The CAPERS will play the winner of the Dalhousie vs Saint Mary's quarterfinal. The CAPERS will play on Friday at 2 pm.

Charlie Waters, in the first and Peter Schaale, in the second, provided the offensive punch for the visitors. Christian Masimengo made 8 saves for Moncton and Viktor Lyczywek, 2 for the Capers.
