The Cape Breton University Capers women's basketball team wrapped up a three-game weekend series with the visiting Laurentian Voyageurs with a 68-60 victory Sunday at the Sullivan Fieldhouse.
The Capers were victorious in two-of-three games with the visiting Voyageurs which saw games Friday at Memorial High School in Sydney and Saturday at Centre 200 in Sydney prior to Sunday's finale at CBU.
Alison Keough had 23 points and 11 rebounds in just 24 minutes to lead the Capers offensively.
Rasheeka Gunn and Colleen Keane also recorded double-doubles for the Capers. Gunn finished with 14 points and 12 rebounds while Keane had 11 points and 12 rebounds to go along with five assists.
Danielle Harris with 16 points and Meghan Forestell with 14 points were top scorers for Laurentian.
