CAPERS DROP EXHIBITION

Toronto,ON - The Cape Breton CAPERS finished their preseason schedule with a 63-55 loss to the University of Victoria Vikes at the Darcel Wright Memorial Women's basketball tournament Sunday at Ryerson University. Cape Breton finished the weekend with a 1-2 record and return home looking to get the AUS season started. 

The CAPERS were done in by some poor shooting and it cost them the game. The CAPERS weee once again led by Allison Keough (Marion Bridge, NS)and Colleen Keane (Scarborough,ON) with 12 points each. Natasha Roach (Roxboro, QC)chipped in 8 points in a losing cause for Cape Breton. 

The CAPERS open their season Nov.4/5 in Halifax against Dalhousie. The CAPERS home opener is Nov. 11th when they host Acadia.
