WBB: Keough, Brown & Ryan receive AUS Honours
Alison Keough, Hannah Brown and Mackenzee Ryan earned spots on AUS All-star and All-Rookie Teams.
Halifax, NS - The AUS announced its major award winners in women's basketball. Once again the CAPERS program was well represented. Alison Keough, Hannah Brown and Mackenzee Ryan all received recognition for their outstanding performances.
Keough (Marion Bridge, NS) in her 5th-year with the program was named an AUS 1st-team All-star for the 4th consecutive season. She was also named AUS Rookie of the Year and a 2nd-team All-star in 2013-14 and won the 2016-17 AUS MVP. Joining her on the 1st-team this season Hannah Brown (North Sydney, NS). This is Brown's first AUS All-star nod for the 4th-year forward.
Mackenzee Ryan (Glace Bay, NS) was named to the AUS All-Rookie team.

The CAPERS will look to defend their AUS title March 2nd-4th in Halifax. Their first game will be Saturday at 3pm in the semi-finals and they will face the winner of the UPEI vs UNB QF. All the action can be seen on AusTv.ca.
