Sydney, NS – The X-Women won their 1^stgame at the Protocase Debbie Ruiz Memorial Tournament on Friday night with a 68-56 win over the Nipissing Lakers. Jamie McCarron led the way for X with 17 points, 2 Reb. And 2 assists. Michaela Branker had 22 points for the Lakers in a losing cause. 

Turning Point: It was a tight game throughout but the X-Women kept matching Nipissing in the 4^thquarter and didn't allow any runs for a comeback
