Sydney, NS – The University of Quebec de Monteal won their final game at the Protocase Debbie Ruiz Memorial Tournament over the Nipissing Lakers. The Citadens finish with a record of 2-1, while the Lakers leave Cape Breton with a 0-3 record.  UQAM was led in scoring by Veronique Boivin with 18 points. The Lakers leading scorer was  Michaela Branker with 16 points.

Turning Point: UQAM started the game strong in the first quarter outscoring Nipissing 22-11. They were able to ride that early lead the rest of the way.

*  Citadens Inga Aleksaite led all players with 11 rebounds 

*   UQAM's Clara Blachier led with 6 assists
