WBB: Brown has 31 points as CAPERS remain undefeated!

Sydney, NS – The CAPERS defeated the UNB Reds 78-67 to earn a weekend sweep at the Sullivan Fieldhouse on Saturday afternoon.  The CAPERS were led by a dominant low post game. Forward Hannah Brown (North Sydney, NS) had 31 points and 9 rebounds. Guards Monique Calliste (Toronto, ON) and Toni Bianchini (Groves Point, NS) had 15 and 16 points respectively.  The Reds were led by Mikaela Dodig with 24 points and 5 rebounds and Grace Simpson with 19 points and 5 rebounds. 

Turning point – The CAPERS broke open a close game going on a 24-10 run to close out the game.

• The CAPERS Brown led all players with 31 pts
• Brown also led the game with 9 rebounds
• CBU's Calliste and Mackenzee Ryan (Glace Bay, NS) each had a game-high 3 assists
• UNB's Dodig led all players with a pair of 3-pointers.

The Subway Player of the Game was Hannah Brown of the CAPERS 

The CAPERS move to 5-0 on the season and remain the only unbeaten team in the AUS.

The Reds drop to 4-2 on the season.
