Sydney, NS – The CAPERS used a dominant game from senior Audrey Rankin (Prince George's County, MD) to win an important 4-point game on Friday night at the Sullivan Fieldhouse.
Sydney, NS – The CAPERS used a dominant game from senior Audrey Rankin (Prince George's County, MD) to win an important 4-point game on Friday night at the Sullivan Fieldhouse. The CAPERS defeated the Saint Mary's Huskies 83-82 in a tight game. Rankin had 23 points and 17 rebounds in her best game of the season to lead the CAPERS to a victory in both team's first game after their holiday break. The CAPERS also received strong games from local players Mackenzee Ryan (Glace Bay, NS) with 24 points and 7 assists and Hailey MacLeod (Marion Bridge, NS) with 19 points and 9 rebounds. The Huskies had four players hit double digits. Alaina McMillan led the way with 17 points and Arianna Macias (17), Clara Gascoigne (12) and Kendra MacKinnon (11) also hit double figures. Rankin hit 6 three-pointers in a row in the 3rd and 4th quarters for the CAPERS to take over the Huskie lead and never give it up.
