The CBU CAPERS take the win in the match-up against the StFX X-Women on Thursday, January 23 at the Sullivan Fieldhouse in AUS women's basketball action.
The first quarter ended with the home team, the CBU CAPERS, ahead with a score of 21-18. At the half, the CAPERS extended the lead to 41-31 as the teams headed to the dressing room for the half.
The third quarter saw the CAPERS go ahead by as much as 15 points to keep the lead at the buzzer. The X-Women came alive in the fourth quarter closing the gap and putting the pressure on CBU. They battled hard but the CAPERS came out with the win with a final score of 71-65.
The CAPERS will visit the StFX X-Women on Saturday, January 25th with tip-off at 6pm.
