Sydney, NS- Ciera DiSipio (Ottawa, ON) scored the only goal of the game in the CAPERS 1-0 victory over the X-Women to spoil homecoming weekend for the hosts. Keeper Lysianne Trottier (Barrie, ON) turned aside 2 shots on the way to a clean sheet.
Turning point
The CAPERS dominating the game for long stretches and outshot the X-Women 17-3 but it wasn't until the 85' that DiSipio put the winning goal in, to secure the victory for the 1 place CBU CAPERS.
