Bio

Robert White, a New Waterford native, joined the CAPERS in 2003 after coaching girls soccer at Breton Education Centre from 1994-2002. Since joining the CAPERS, the team has won 12 AUS titles as well as U Sport gold, silver, and bronze.

As an athlete, Robert is a former Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association 1st team All Canadian and conference winner of the Bob Coe Award for leadership and sportsmanship.

Robert has been a teacher at Breton Education Centre for 30 years and spends time volunteering in the community; notably as a New Waterford Minor Soccer executive member over the past decade and a volunteer for the Cape Breton ALS Walk. He is married to Setz Sue Anne and has 2 daughters, Layla (grade 11) and Isabella (1st year nursing program at CBU).
