Amy Lynch is in her first year as a midfielder for the Cape Breton Capers women’s soccer team. The Sydney resident will be in the club’s lineup Friday when the Capers host the St. Francis Xavier X-Women at 5 p.m. at the Cape Breton Health Recreation Complex in Sydney.

The CAPERS won 3-0 over ST.FX on senior night. Senior Ciera Disipio (Ottawa, ON) scored a pair of goals on the night and rookie Erin Freeman (Halifax, NS) scored a single 4th-year keeper Rachel Yerxa (Mississauga, ON) was strong in net for the victory. X-women starting keeper Emma Kuzmyk took the loss.
