For Cape Breton University’s Erin Freeman, soccer has always been a family affair. Having been coached by her dad from an early age, it didn’t take long before Erin started to show the kind of talent that would see her named 2018 U-Sports Rookie of the Year.

The Cape Breton University Capers have made a great move by bringing back Mitchell Hanna as their new Performance Analyst coach. Mitchell had previously been a student assistant coach as he worked on his degree at CBU, but now after a move to finish his schooling at Dalhousie, he has returned to the CBU Women’s Soccer team as the Performance Analyst.
